Setting goals for your health and fitness is a great way to start the New Year! Living a healthy lifestyle also includes eating the right foods, cutting out the saturated and trans fats in your diet as well as eating plenty of fruits and vegetables will help you not only look better but feel better as well.

Start small, if you over-exert your body with exercise you will become sore and in turn may not want to continue, but if you start off small, 3 days a week for 30 minutes at a time, you will be able to get into the routine of exercising. As you become more comfortable with your routine you can increase the amount of time and the number of days of the week that you exercise. Remember to set realistic goals for yourself. Remember that your main goal is to be healthy and achieve that inner peace that you are looking for.
